The Sun Inn is an elegant Grade II listed 18th century pub on the village common overlooking
the Village Cricket pitch and village common. The licensees, Chris and Von Lindesay, aim to
provide the friendly old-fashioned atmosphere of a village local with open log fires in winter
and an excellent range of beer, lager, wines and a varied menu. The Pub has extensive alfresco
drinking and dining facilities with picnic tables on the common and a part paved, part lawn beer garden.

Typical dishes are - Sandwiches, Baps and Baguettes (£4.75), ploughman's (£4.95), main

Favourite dishes served at the Sun include Honey Roast Ham Eggs & Chips, Beef Lasagne, Spinach and
Mushroom Lasagne, and Homemade Steakburgers. Our various Curries of the Day are also much appreciated.
Sunday Night Pub Quiz
There is an informal and friendly quiz on Sunday nights starting around 9:30pm (or when
the kitchen staff can get out of the kitchen). It costs £1 per person and the winning
team keeps all that it does not lose in the final "scalp em" round. Scalpings are donated to Charity
Parties and Occasions
The pub offers flexible facilities for parties and events with a 10 by 4 metre marquee and
separate restaurant which can seat up to 30 people at a single banquet style table.
